If it's not exactly balmy, it's a good idea to look for an experience under the roof. And Vrchlabí has a lot to offer, two amazing Krkonoše museums, an aqua centre, galleries, many cafes and restaurants.
Autumn belongs to culture and cultural experiences
The theatre season is starting, concerts are planned, folk, classical music and also mid-range performers. Dance classes for married and coupled couples are starting. Interesting exhibitions and Jazz November are coming up. Just take your pick.
Go to the cinema
The former cardboard paper factory, carton factory or cartonage, until recently the home of a theatre club, now houses an intimate and cosy digital cinema. The small hall with comfortable chairs can accommodate about 80 people. The renovated space offers a pleasant cinema experience with great sound. New releases and quality older films are sure to be enjoyed.
Modern aquacentre and swimming pool
The pleasant environment of the new aquacentre with a beautiful view of the wooden pier with a fisherman's house is the right relaxation after a cold day or an autumn trip. There is something for everyone, relaxation and fun: a swimming pool with four lanes, a paddling pool, a whirlpool, a water slide and slides, a wild river and a steam cabin.

Hockey season has already started
Come and watch a hockey match of the local club from Vrchlabí, which plays in the 2nd league. The winter indoor stadium with a capacity of 1200 people, of which 300 are seated, is also the home playing and training ice surface of the youth preparatory and skating school. You can also take advantage of public skating.
