House with Seven Gables
One of the oldest private houses in Vrchlabi, it looks like a rural chalet adapted to life in the town.
The unusual appearance of the house is the result of efforts to make the best use of the entire space. The most interesting part is the attic room with deck walls and ceiling, decorated with colourful painted strips with floral and geometric patterns. Some parts of the structure have already been removed, so not all seven gables can now be seen.
A café on the ground floor brings the atmosphere of days past in a cosy room with local specialties. The attic features a small exhibition and is accessible during the opening hours of the café.
