In this outdoor quest the time machine will take you back to the early 18th century. The famous composer Antonio Vivaldi, the talented Venetian, has just entered the services of the landlord of Vrchlabi, Count Morzin. While the mobile application navigates you through the game, you and your children work on changing the course of history.
The talented Venetian, the famous composer Antonio Vivaldi, has entered the services of the landlord of Vrchlabi, Count Morzin. Vivaldi is now the chief composer for the Count’s orchestra and has been assigned a tricky task. He has to compose a score that would celebrate the landscape of Morzin’s manor – the landscape of the Krkonose. The shivering Italian therefore makes his way to Vrchlabi, where he goes through minor adventures, but inspiration still doesn’t come. When you hit the route of the quest called Vivaldi and Vrchlabi, you will have an opportunity to have your name inscribed in the history of music and help Vivaldi to create his most well-known composition.
This outdoor quest is designed mainly for families with children over 5 years of age, but the charm lies in the fact that it will entertain adults, too. It happens in the town, starting at T.G.M. Square. Eight stopovers are located near the most interesting places in the town centre. The quest ends in the park which surrounds the palace.
The walk is 3.5 km in length and you only need comfortable shoes and a Smartphone with the application called Hidden Treasures, which can be downloaded free from Google Play or iTunes. The application will guide you and show your position. The composer Vivaldi’s story will be presented at each stopover. You can download the data pack with the map and audio at home, so you don’t need mobile data during the quest.
At the end of the route, your application will enable you to take a photo with Vivaldi as an original souvenir of a great adventure during which no-one asked, “When are we finally going to be there?” So don’t wait and just go!
