Intersection of Krkonose Cyclobuses
Do not ride your bike uphill; use the network of bus lines for hikers and bikers. There are nine lines, and Vrchlabi is an intersection of the main ones. You have a wide choice of directions to take, making it easier for you to go uphill.
There are nine bus lines running across the Krkonose from west to east.
Plan your trips to interesting places in the highest Czech mountains without being put off by the gradient! Do you like to hit the pedals and hills are no problem for you? Or do you want to overcome your own limits? Take a cyclobus down to the foothills and ride your bike back up the hills!
The buses operate every year from June to September. In 2024, this will be from 25 May to 29 September. They run every Saturday and Sunday in June, every day in July and August, and on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in September – except for the line from Jilemnice to Zlate navrsi Hill, which operates in September only on weekends.
The buses will also transport your electrobikes, but the battery must be isolated. Please remove it from you bike before getting on the bus.
